I have an incredible story that I will publish because my military sources are 100%: "VP Cheney is stepping down for health reasons. He will be replaced by Senator Frist." I am attempting to get further confirmation.

Dick Cheney has been rumored to be stepping down more or less from the moment he took the oath...in '01. Maybe even during the campaign. I'll believe it when I actually see it.

May not be the worst thing. Cheney is a great VP, but it would be good if the GOP had someone there who would be a legitimate Presidential candidate.
