There is nothing I would rather see than the socialists/marxists/progressives bolt from the dem party...
Wouldn't they then be the other majority party?
Personally, I think you could squeeze all the proclaimed hard core socialists, et al, into a VW or telephone booth. The last thing they want to do is take center stage in American politics. They are not only content in the shadows, but their Gramsciish/Fabian tactics have been extremely successful. Their host body (mostly the dem party) are the ones getting sliced and diced on the front lines -- while their agenda rolls on unimpeded -- slowly but surely.
But then, that's how I see it.
