[Marx and Engel's incorporated Darwin's theory into their communist ideology.]
Fallacious argument.
Oppressors use any excuse available to justify their misdeeds including appropriating Darwinism, The Bible, Relativity, Muhammadanism, The Invisible Hand etc..
Both religious and secular "authorities" are used by them and it's unwise to mistake the cause from the effect.

You might wish to refresh Promethean myth in your memory by re-reading it, for then you would be able to avoid gross distortions. Prometheus stole fire from Zeus - and then gave that fire to humans [rather incongruent for a "covetous" Titan to run risks just to benefit the race of lesser beings - humans].

An interesting article in some ways. Who or what is "screwtape"?
While I agree that the Marxist adoption of Darwinism and Evolution gave power to their twised ideology that alone is not sufficient to make evolution untrue.
To me the more interesting question is assume that evolution is true, how do we create a moral society anyway.
To say "you can't" I am afraid condemns us to a future that is less than it could be.

Actually, I believe it was Slubglob who inspired Hegel, but why quibble?

Dr. T. N. Tahmision (Atomic Energy Commission USA) pegged Darwinian evolutionists as 'con men." He commented, "Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever. In explaining evolution, we do not have one iota of fact." ('The Fresno Bee," Aug. 20, 1959, as quoted by N.J. Mitchell, "Evolution and the Emperor's New Clothes," 1983, title page)I've been asking this question of all the creationists on this topic.
Do you believe that all (and I mean ALL!) animals were created in their present form by God with absolutely no changes whatsoever to their physiology between the time they were created and now?
IOW, do you believe that animals do not evolve?

I believe it is a reference to "The Screwtape Letters" by CS Lewis.

It was Biblical religion, and more specifically the Genesis account of creation, that overthrew the classic pagan worldview model with its all-powerful State controlled by totalitarian god-like Promethean men. All of this was repugnant to the Biblical model wherein the Genesis account proclaimed God as Sovereign and Lawmaker. It was He who had created all men and no one was to enslave other men or to treat them as 'lesser beings." Neither were His children to be 'subsumed' into nature, for He had given all of His children dominion over the earth, and they could own land and make use of the earth's resources. In America's founding documents, all statements about equality and freedom as inalienable and inherent rights of all human persons have their basis in the Genesis account. Similarly, because our lives are precious to our Creator, we have the right to keep and bear arms in order to protect our lives and those of our loved ones. This view of man and the world was totally alien to the ancient pagan way of doing things. So, no Christians ever held dominion over another human being and decided their fate?
So, no Christian ever owned another human being to be used as an animated tool or animated sex toy?
So, no Christian American ever owned slaves or treated those of another race as inferior and the equivilent of animals?

Marx and Engel's incorporated Darwin's theory into their communist ideology. Total hogwash!
Isn't it strange that Das Kapital -- the only significant work by Marx that hadn't already been written by the time Darwin got around to publishing Origin of Species -- never mentions Darwin or his work. There is no connection between Marxism and Darwin's theory. In fact, Darwin's theory has much more in common with Adam Smith's economics than it does to the lunacy of communism.

[Given that G-d-free evoluion is true] how do we create a moral society anyway? To say "you can't" I am afraid condemns us to a future that is less than it could be. That's two questions, the second being implicit, both are hard to answer I think. The second question is to you, btw -- that is "Why do you say that that ignoring any role of G-d in creation and continuing development of a moral code is the only way to be all we can be?"
