Marx and Engel's incorporated Darwin's theory into their communist ideology.

Total hogwash!

Isn't it strange that Das Kapital -- the only significant work by Marx that hadn't already been written by the time Darwin got around to publishing Origin of Species -- never mentions Darwin or his work. There is no connection between Marxism and Darwin's theory. In fact, Darwin's theory has much more in common with Adam Smith's economics than it does to the lunacy of communism.

Precisely. Smith's model of economics is clearly based upon the basic concept of "survival of the fit" and change resulting from successive generations of culling; Marx's model is a top-down "intelligent design" economy.
