Well put...but it is sick, and...it is war. Too bad any of it has to happen, but rather it happen to them than us. As you said, though, in war it happens to us too.

I went there once, quite by accident. I don't ever need to go back. I am not someone who has a weak stomach, it just seemed like entertainment there.
On the other hand, it IS human nature, pure and simple. That is why people rubberneck going by an accident scene, so I know what you mean.
