I also was somewhat curious about what his choice in footwear was since he managed to get bitten by fireants. Do you think he wore sandals with that get-up?

Actually he looked like an effete snob trying to ingratiate himself with the locals and failing miserably. Typical DUmmie with a preconcieved idea of the way real people dress since he'd have fit in better if he'd worn a t-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.
