wouldn't Powell say to himself that Gore was really elected in 2000 and then meekly step aside and let Gore take over the presidency? Is that you, Jonathan Alter?

The post impeachment administration: Powell-Gore? Kucinich-Flyarm.

Frankly, the only viable Republicans are John McCain and Colin Powell. . . . Yes, old "Strawberries" McCaine, that model of calm, cool stability. . . .

Democrats need to insist on some kind of "government of national unity" -- in other words, the appointment of a Democratic vice president. The only Democrat with the stature to be vice president under those circumstances is Al Gore Joe Lieberman.

If you go to CU, I believe they found a thread where Will The Pitt insists that he didn't make it up. Oh, and the correct name for a story where a DUmmie educates a freeper is a "Bouncy Ball Story", after the queen of absurd stories.

You may disagree with this analysis and proposed administration. . . . OK, I think I will.

Another classic WilliamPitt post wherein he's able to recall the entire long-winded conversation exactly word-by-word (with appropriate quotation marks), wherein he deigns to wise up an otherwise unknowing looby. EXACTLY! That was the dead giveaway on this fraud. NOBODY can remember conversations that precisely to give detailed quotes later. My guess is that Pitt was preaching his leftist spiel to this bouncer and the bouncer politely humored him by nodding his head up and down which Pitt interpreted to mean total agreement supplemented later by EXTENSIVE DETAILED quotes. I would love if some enterprising reporter from the Boston Herald tracked down this Ty guy for verification. I'm sure Ty wouldn't be hard to find since I don't expect there are many large bar bouncers originally from New Orleans named "Ty" in Boston.

After all this national trauma, would you prefer .... Powell-McCain? McCain-Gore:

The succession to the presidency is defined...I don't think your scenario accounts for the fact that the Constitution was amended to provide a clearly defined succession of the Presidency. How is your scenario going to get around the 25 amendment? Just be like Jonathan Alter and live in your Alter-nate Reality.

You think Ty really exists? I don't. Well, it would be easy enough to check out this story in Boston. I'm sure most of the bar bouncers know each other. A check at about a half dozen bars with bouncers should yield the answer. Even if Ty doesn't work at the bars that are checked, I'm sure at least one of the bouncers would know of a Ty from that description that Pitt gave. I am giving Pitt the benefit of the doubt that Ty does exist but there is NO WAY that Pitt could come up with those DETAILED quotes after the event. Most likely Ty was just humoring an annoying customer and just nodding his head up and down hoping Pitt would just walk away.
In any event, I sure do hope Ty can be tracked down. Somehow I don't think he would be too happy with Pitt invoking his name and making up quotes in order to advance the looney left agenda.
