Thank you Governor Schwarzenegger for Denying Clemency

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, thank you so much for your well founded decision in refusing to block the execution of murderer Stanley Williams. About 30 minutes before your decision was made official, emails had already come in which, in a one line sentence, you announced your decision not to grant clemency. It was a great relief for many who were concerned, as the news broke over the radio, and among news talks shows all over the state and nation. Later a full statement was released by your office, five pages, and the words in your statement were certainly well received by myself and so many others.

Like others, because I believed you would make the right decision on this matter, I took the grief of many sceptics who believed you have taken a sharp left turn politically.

You fought hard for the reforms you sponsored for our State. Unfortuanately, the voters of California did not have the wisdom to pass the measures that you sponsored which would have brought about the type of reform that you campaigned on. It was a difficult loss. But, I can see from your decision today you have not lost your will, you are strong as ever.

I am confident that I will be voting for your re-election. I believe your will is what will keep you straight and narrow, and it is your principles from your lifetime of experience that drives this will – I believe that in the end, you will do what is right for our State, and will continue to win the vote of confidence from those who love this country, our traditions, and our values. I believe that you admire the Founding Fathers. Some call you an actor, others an actor gone politician, and other simply a politician. I believe that your heart, your real will, is that of a statesman, not politician, and you hold the values that both moderates and conservatives agree on.

Thank you again, and keep up the great work.

Lastly, unlike some others, I respect the love you have for your wife, and wish both of you the very best, and a very, very Merry Christmas.

It was good news to hear Arnold did the right thing. I can't help but feel saddened that we have to take another life.

How many murderers do we have to kill to stop this madness. (answer: All of them)

There's a woman in the fifth row who appears to be having a seizure.

After reading Governor Schwarzenegger's Decision Report on denying clemency to Stanley Williams on the website www.mercurynews.com , I am more convinced than ever that Stanley Williams is guilty of the murders and I am convinced that Governor Schwarzenegger has made a correct decision based on prudent consideration of facts relating to the case.

People who are deceived by Stanley Williams that he has changed into a man of peace ought to visit the website to see the real nature of this unrepentant criminal. He is brazen enough to dedicated one of his so-called anti-gang books to a violent criminal, George Jackson, who was charged with the murder of a San Quentin correctional officer and involved in a violent escape attempt in court in which the judge was shot to dead by one of his accomplices.

Stanley Williams deserves to die for his heinous crimes. This is the destiny of gangs who kill innocent people. This is the real anti-gang message.
