Wizbang's Weblog awards

This is important!

A couple of our own are losing badly to far left blogs in Wizbang's Weblog awards. I wouldn't care, but the fact is they're only losing because Daily Kos, DU, Crooks and Liars and and other radical left-wingers are pleading with their readers to keep conservatives from winning. Please support these blogs! You can vote once every 24 hours until December 15th:

Michelle Malkin for Best Blog. She's losing to Daily Kos. This can't happen!

Vote for Wuzzadem for Best New Blog. Wuzzadem is a Freeper, and is losing to a terrible blog called "Yellow Dog Blog", who had this to say to a "slobbering con" that e-mailed him:

"this e-mail printed in its entirety is way too long to have come from a Republican. If you were really a slack-jawed, slobbering member of the GOP, you wouldn't have been able to focus for that long."

I don't really know much abut the blogs in the humor/comics category, but an awful blog called "Jesus' General" demeans Christians and conservatives every day, and is winning here. Dilbert Blog is the closest competitor here but I don't know the author's politics. Scrappleface, Day by Day and IMAO are all good choices, but we can't let this terrible person win. Vote for someone here.

Please ping everyone you can and vote every day. Don't let liberals hijack these awards unfairly!

Dude, these don't mean anything. Worry if you will, but these have as much meaning as a whizz in a snowstorm.

What's up with Wizbang, pitting five or ten conservative blogs against one liberal blog? Collectively, the conservatives garner the most votes, but the liberal blog wins the award. Looks like the fix was in before voting even started.

And, it kind of reminds me of 1992, when two conservative presidential candidates lost to a liberal who only received 42% of the vote.

Maybe that's what pisses me off :-).

Somehow I don't think that anyone who runs a serious blog gives one flying fig about these vacuous competitions.

Yeah...it couldn't have been due to that whole broken promise of "no new taxes" thing... Nah. Had to be a coincidence. Move along, citizen!
