And to prove that the modernist nihlists are out to lunch, both Poland and Ireland are thriving - culturally and economically. So much for the theory "liberalism = growth" - far from it!

Opinion

“Poland was given a blunt warning over its human rights obligations yesterday - after the election of a president who has sought to curb gay rights." The British paper quotes Martin Schultz, leader of the socialist group in the European Parliament and a member of Germany's SPD (Social Democrats), as saying that Kaczynski is "on probation", adding: "I hope the president will be a different kind of person to the [one we saw as] candidate." Was written.

In the EU you have: "The have and the have nots."

Poland is a political “have not.” That was made very clear to them by Chirac who even threatened them and others with EU membership because they supported intervention in Iraq.

Bottom line is that the “centralist” Central European political group think way of operating will demand Poland to ultimately abdicate its power to this Supra-national, pan-European government which in reality is run by Germany/France (the core) and to a lesser extent Great Britain and Italy.

Most of Central Europe is secular. They might have “had” some religious cultural tradition in the past but pride themselves today with their “social” and near anti-religious positions. The Conservative CDU (a Christian party in Germany) is for tax hikes and supports liberal abortion laws. Need one say more about European conservatives?

Central Europe has no conservative or Christian foundation anymore. Communist indoctrination for 45 years by the Soviets, the Socialist movements in the 1900s (European origin) and even the National Socialist movements in the 30s under Hitler or Mussolini and Franco have all but sucked true conservatives and God out of Europe. Today you have a Europe that claims to have strong religious beliefs when convenient in conversation, but Italy is one of the leaders in per capita abortions ( http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/italy/ab-italyr2.html ). That's the "heart" of Catholicism.

A Poland that has a national identity and is based on true Catholic values will have a hard time within this “EU”.

Done, sorry you feel it isn't a choice you make.

Excuses like God made me that way don't fly.

I don't hate gays, but you can't convince me that this isn't a perverse behavior that didn't have its origin in sexual gratification.

You can still love the sinner without loving the sin, but don't expect me to accept the sin as a normal thing that I should accept and encourage others to engage in.

In ~2050, the European Muslim population will outnumber native Europeans. Based on the "homophobia" criterion, even Europe itself will not be able to vote in the EU.
The EU is doomed. Poland should go its own way and thrive.
