John O'neill, who you may recall, with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, was instrumental in helping defeat John Kerry in 2004.
Now he is supporting Lt Col Greg Parke, USAF in his "mission to prevent socialist candidate Bernie Sanders from entering the U.S. Senate".
excerpt:
Sanders is as radical as they come.
In fact, he's so far to the Left that he calls himself an "independent" because he thinks Democrats are "too conservative."
His record in the House of Representative - particularly on defense matters - is disgraceful.
He introduced four separate amendments to slash crucial defense and intelligence spending even deeper than Bill Clinton ever proposed.
He's consistently fought President Bush on issues of national security - most specifically he voted against the use of force to oust Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein
And even though we are in the middle of a global war on terror, Bernie Sanders proudly says he's "leading the charge against the Bush Administration."
Please support him in this effort . . .

We need to step up. If not for the Swifties, Kerry would have been elected.
If O'Neill is against him, so am I. I'll see if I can make a donation.
Hey John! When are YOU going to run for office?! We need your voice in the Senate.
I'd never have the patience for the public scrutiny.
Me neither, the liberal media is vicious with those they oppose.

Who says Libby Dole doesn't know what she is doing. Two real war heros to give that whiny POW McCain a run for his money in the senate. I love these guys. American patriots instead of career politicians. Whoopee.
Thanks for the post, this is how the grass roots effort gets rolling.
Thanks for posting this Wrangler22. I didn't even know Sanders had any opposition, not that it probably makes any difference since it appears that most VT voters are as screwy and as commie as Sanders. I keep reading that VT wants to secede and I think we should not permit this unless they take the rest of N England with them. Leave NH, but put them on probation subject to being expelled if they keep traveling down the same path they have been.
I worked with the Swift Boat vets during the Presidential campaign in Ohio (through radio, and their movie Stolen Honor, and book by Jerry Corsi) and it is true that the Swift Boat Vets helped to tip the vote in Ohio toward Bush.
I hope O'Neill and the rest of the gang continue to stop such people as Paul Hackett, an Iraq Marine JAG veteran who told President Bush to "F" himself. Walking in the shoes of John Kerry. Hackett ran as a Democrat for a House seat in southern Ohio using films of President Bush in his ads - even though Hackett despises Bush and all conservatives.
Hackett is supposedly going to run for a Ohio Senatorial seat in 2006 and he would be bad news for Ohio and the U.S.
We will be all over the 2006 races and rallying the vote.
There is also a very conservativr Yankee population in Vermont that could maybe be mobilized to take back their state from the bedroom community hedonists. A candidate has to go into the hollows, though.
There USED TO BE a very conservative Yankee population in Vermont. I don't have any numbers and certainly can't prove anything, but I would have to guess from the looks of the politicians that VT has elected in recent years (Sanders, Dean, Leahy, Jeffords) those people died and are dying off while the state fills up with lefties from other N England states. Rounding up what remains of them to vote would be unlikely to make much of a difference would be my guess - VT is too far gone and getting loonier by the year.
I live in Illinois and have worked torelessly for almost 20 years only to see the state get Bluer and Bluer. Here the problem is that the Republican Party of Illinois can't produce a respectable candidate.
