Is it 'Hasta la vista, baby' for Arnold?

The special election in California Tuesday was a battle between a governor tyring to turn a state around and the unions who rule Sacramento. Unfortunately Arnold and his propositions lost and now it is going to be very difficult for him to do anything in a state run by liberal Democrats.

Arnold put his bigger than life image up against the powerful unions, and he got rolled. When Arnie was running for election against then governor Gray-out Davis, he promised the world-a complete accounting of state funds, cost cutting measures at every state office and removing barriers for businesses to thrive in state where rules and regulations make doing business as difficult as algebra in Chinese.

Arnold's idea of using the ballot box to change Sacramento failed miserably, not because he ideas weren't sound but because he took on the most powerful unions in the country. In doing so, has this killed his political career?

I'm not sure what it means about his career, but then I don't care about Schwarzenegger. What it does say is that California is going to continue to drink the Kool-Aid and get itself into an even bigger fiscal mess. At least he tried.

Kalifornia is a done turkey...no hope left for it. Sell it to mexico for 10 pesos on the dollar.
