- stopper toute nouvelle immigration

Mouvement National Republicain (National Republican Movement) Statement:

Events of Nov 08, 2005 The riots and the response of the MNR to the riots in the cities

Our country crosses one of the most serious crises which it has had to face for one half-century. Many in our community are in a situation of civil war and many of our compatriots are abandoned to the law of the barbarians. Barbarians who know only hatred and the violence, which destroy, ransack and set fire to schools, gymnasiums and means of transport, and the agenda is the detriment and injury even the most modest of French. It is the massive and uncontrolled immigration policy that is at the origin of the riots. It is time to take radical measures:

- to stop all new immigration
- to stop the family regrouping
- to carry out the systematic expulsion of all clandestine operatives
- to restore double punishment for such acts
- to punish the parents of any youth rioter or otherwise
- to use the procedure of forfeiture of their nationality for the serious troublemakers.

Sounds like a sound plan, but just as "The Spirit of the Laws" articulated a sound political philosophy, the French are sure to reject this as they neglect Montesquieu. The French value what is worthless and dismiss what is sublime.

Gosh, who would have ever thought that embracing the diversity of multiple cultures within a country would end up this way?

The Iraqis have their own state and their own constitution. Perhaps the fueligans are jealous.
