Lived in an Arab nabe in Brooklyn, NY and have spent alot of time in the northern suburbs of Paris. Lived in a Mexican neighborhood in Chicago (1998-99) and travel in Mexico on a regular basis.

Malaysia isn't as bad as the A-Rab countries or the Arab diaspora due to the fact that 1. it is a dictatorship (this has also kept many Arab nations in line) and 2. Malay culture, while hostile towards Chinese and suspicious of westerners, has not been "proletarianized." Of course, if the Malays develop a diaspora, things may be different.
