hehehehe
World "Nut" Daily? please.
You know somehow arguing with you this morning just doesn't seem worth the effort. Go peddle your dribble elsewhere.
Agreed, this is getting really old.
The Captain has his vest on, hint to pubs.
"Well aren't you special.
I guess we should all trust you instead."
Wow, you managed to miss the point, and be insulting at the same time.
Let me guess, you're a Bush bot?
You think I will just salute and slouch away? If you don't like the thread, you go elsewhere.
You know what you can do with your label....don't you?
WND had a poor rep way before this kerfluffle and pointing that out is hardly propagandist. btw I happen to be undecided on Miers.
I understand your feelings, but who would you trust as President? Anyone electable?
Have you chosen this special moment to humiliate yourself?
Tony's on! come on over.

Morning to you!
You have a point, but the hypocrisy aspect of it is troubling too.
"Tenure on FR does not magically embue anyone with any special wisdom or intelligence or knowledge."
Absolutely 100% correct. Stand your ground.
However, the longer one has been a member, the more silliness that is tolerated from said member. (And taken as serious, important stuff).
Got any argument with the substance of the article, or will you and the other Bush-bots continue to attack the author, the source, anyone to deflect attention away from Bush's horrid record as a conservative?
Got an argument with Bush's record as chronicled in this article? Truth is truth.
No humiliation at all for me. I'm proud to stand up for the truth, rather than bury it under a pile of blind misguided loyalty.
And mine. Except I would say, "Egotistical, self-righteous horsesh*t."
Luckily the Framers made sure that the Constitution would stand in the way of all those (on the right or on the left) who want to impose their personal conscience on the rest of us. And that includes "professing" Christians. (Click my screen name for details.)
Here, let me dismantle the author's article, which really is nothing more than ad-hominem attacks and strawman arguments.
Bush is handicapped by the RINOs in the Senate. He'll never get a JRB or a Luttig confirmed to the bench because of the stupid gang of 14.
There will be at least one or two more SCOTUS openings before Bush's term expires. Why waste ammo now when nobody in the Senate will fight for him? Better to sneak a conservative nominee in, and then fight for the Luttigs and Browns shortly before 2008, which will be the mother of all elections and would energize conservatives at the right time.
So as far as substance goes, I'm sure there are far better critiques of the Bush Administration here . . . so don't be disappointed by the reaction . . . it's simply a weak piece of writing.
Last time I checked, the Constitution began with the words, "We, the People..." I think I am in that group since I was born in Illinois, and I'm over 18 years of age. So, I will speak up when and wherever I please, and there's nothing you can do to stop me.
