In her firsy paragraph 'ole Mary gives herself away:

we’d made news.

Its not enough for the MSM to report on events, they want to make the news. From there to manufacturing the news is a short step and one that the MSM has increasingly felt free to do to advance their agenda.

When caught by the "ignorant" as another CBS icon Walter Cronkite refers to the American public they fall back into childish trantrums and accusations of convoluted conspiracies.

Here's the remedy.... Don't watch broadcast news, don't buy the NY Times et. al. The marketplace will fix them.

It has been more than twenty years since I bought any "newspaper" or "newsmagazine" other than the Wall Street Journal or Investor's Daily... with the exception of a couple "special issues" for my archives: Death of Pope John Paul, Crash of '1987, etc...

My friends and acquaintances believe I'm the most informed person about politics and the world that they know. That includes those who are on the opposite side of the political spectrum from me.
