A poll at CNN asks, “Is it time for England to change its national flag?”
Why in the world would such a thing even be considered?

Chris Doyle, director of the Council for the Advancement of Arab-British Understanding, said Tuesday the red cross was an insensitive reminder of the Crusades.
“A lot of Muslims and Arabs view the Crusades as a bloody episode in our history,” he told CNN. “They see those campaigns as Christendom launching a brutal holy war against Islam.
“Muslim or Arab prisoners could take umbrage if staff wore a red cross badge. It’s also got associations with the far-right. Prison officers should be seen to be neutral.”
Doyle added that it was now time for England to find a new flag and a patron saint who is “not associated with our bloody past and one we can all identify with.”
Pull the other one!

I'm normally a classy guy. However, each day I get closer and closer to buying and wearing a t-shirt I saw for sale on a website that said:
F--k Islam
Of course it was spelled out on the shirt.
Actually the poll is 28% for and 82% against! The British people are proud of their flag as well they should be. They would never allow this.
If they don't like it that can pack up their diapers (for their heads) and get the hell out. When are we going to stop coddling terrorists?

Apparently, imprisoned Muslims do. What's worth noting is why anyone should give a crap what a convicted prisoner thinks.
Well Yankees have had a similar problem with Southern flags for decades.
I hope this situation in the UK opens people's eyes to the bigotry the muslim faith has towards Western Countries.

I actually wouldn't mind if they got rid of their flag. I have long been envious of the union jack, which in my opinion is the best looking flag there is. Maybe the conservative movement can have it when they throw it away..?

Surely the 13% can’t all be Muslim prisoners in England, can it? If so, I have to reevaluate my concept of English prisons. Prisoners have far too much freedom of access to the internet.
