Judge Karlton is, I think, all wet. The pledge does not represent coercion. Far from it. Federal law specifically states nobody is ever required to recite the pledge.

The ruling was another horrendous step backward for America....but..

Public schools in any event are no longer educational institutions of any value....They merely provide employment for "teachers"....The answer?

Make what ever financial and quality of living sacrifices that are necessary and send the children to private schools.

I don't like his decision either but if the SCOTUS would have gotten off of their collective A*** last year when Nedow brought his original suit this would have already been history. Nedow and this issue was clearly not going away they only postponed the inevitable. It was Irresponsible and it shows how heavily the SCOTUS is now influenced by politics and public perception.
