Other than fetching coffee for Janeane Garofalo, what do think is Air America's most miserable employment position?

Our pick: vice-president of finance.

Imagine having to send out the now-infamous email explaining why direct-deposits wouldn't be available on time? Or being forced to make excuses for the company's many screw-ups?

You're surely on the receiving end of a lot of misplaced abuse.

Recall this Radio Equalizer piece from August 8th:

The tears are welling-up. Even as I type, it's hard to see the screen as I think about what has become of poor S-whatsisname.

NOT...

Who has the most miserable job at AA? That's easy--the guy that has to clean the microphone spit-screens.

ooooh that is hilarious!! The constant spew that goes out over those airwaves everyday - you would have to clean the microphones or nothing could get through.

What's interesting about this is the Air America VP of Finance just quit. Sometimes that is a sign of internal distress, possibly related to ongoing financial pressures.

It's a huge puzzle that Malkin and Maloney have been providing a lot of pieces to. brilliant on their part, and quite a picture is emerging.

If you haven't been following this the last month or two (it's been blacked out in the MSM) you really should keep an eye on Brian and Michelle's blogs. They have been providing some of the best investigative journalism I can ever remember seeing.

And I think the story is just FACINATING.

I agree with the quality of investigative work they have been doing. And certainly there is a blackout in the MSM - they helped birth this abortion about 18 months ago.
