Jay-z, Pdiddy back Kanye Wests comments
markedmanner blog ^

I will never understand the "Rap" culture or whatever you want to call it. First Kanye West with his off the wall comments about President Bush saying "President Bush doesnt care about black people." The question I have for Kanye where is the evidence of this??? Im sick of people saying "If it would have been a white majority in New Orleans the president would have done something sooner." Please! Well lets see the Mayor of New Orleans and he was the one that could have taken huge steps to get those people out of there but he didnt. He is a black man so I guess I can say the mayor doesnt care about "his people". Kanye says that that officials were giving the ok to shoot at his people. So I guess the looters and those that are shooting at helicopters are your people? As long as there black that makes it all ok? I dont care what race they are no one that does those things are "my people". Now of course other wonderful and all knowing rappers of likes of Jay-z and Pdiddy are backing Kanye saying he said what needed to be said. I am tierd of these people making everything a race issue. Shooting a looter has nothing to do with race. The other things I found outreagous that Kanye said was "america is setup to help the needy and poor as slow as possible." Give me a break.

I thought P Diddy was now just "Diddy" which was causing problems with "Fitty" (50 Cent).

You know, it's really "rich" hearing carp like this from these dregs, who "sing" about rape, murder, etc. Their lecturing about "caring" at all is a joke.

I wonder how Sharpton reacts to this? Several months ago he claimed to be on a crusade to cut out the rap culture of death and violence and misogyny. But given the rappers he says are dirty are calling Bush racist, which side will he be on?

I notice that Diddy and JayZ are on the Forbes Richest under 40 list. I wonder where their donations are! Why not help bring your brothers and sisters out of poverty if you are so concerned that someone else is being a racist towards them?

That's to your credit. There's no need to be.

Especially with morons like Kanye West.

I believe I read that they had both made substantial donations. (In excess of $1 million)

Instead of 'Vote or Die,' P Dummy should have done 'Boat or Die' and had his homies in NO prepared...word.

Jay-z: So?
Pdiddy: Who cares?
Kanye West: Who??

I'm sorry, but I just can't make myself give a damn what these guys (or any other self-styled celebrity) think.

Good. Talking trash like they do and not helping, is unforgiveable. I can't stand Sean Penn, but at least he was there trying to help, even if he made idiotic comments.

Snoop Dog. I agree. Lee Iaccoca isn't suppose to understand what they guy's saying (that's suppose to be the "bit"), but Mr. Dog sounds like he's talking with marbles in his mouth.
