Two German TV stations are apparently claiming that Bush's visit to N.O was basically a staged event: bulldozers and the like were brought in just for his visit, bodies were moved, etc.
Can someone provide translations and state the actual charges and what evidence is given?

the last is supposedly translated here:

You also might want to spend some time reading the other entries at the HuffPost. That site has two sides: blog ( http://www.huffingtonpost.com/theblog/ ) and news (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/thenewswire/).
On the news side, comments are posted immediately and don't seem to be deleted.
However, on the blog side, comments are moderated and - oddly enough - almost no one disagrees with most of the pundits.
Who needs to translate? It's bovine excrement.
I remember back on Thursday, talking heads were complaining about President Bush viewing the effects of Katrina from Air Force One. They said it was a bad image that he should have seen if from the ground.
Disregard is what it deserves
i have no idea if it is true, but it isn't like the president hasn't done orchestrated photo ops before.
Who gives a flip?
Aw, ignore them.
Schroeder is going down in a couple weeks.
They also questioned why he declared all three states a disaster area before the storm hit shore
"i have no idea if it is true, but it isn't like the president hasn't done orchestrated photo ops before."
Exactly. Slick Willie's staged tears at Normandy come immediately to mind...
It doesn't matter to the left what President Bush did or does, it'll be trashed anyway.
Speaking for myself only,
I don't give a sh1t what any euro media has to say.
Suddenly recovery units appeared, suddenly bulldozers were there, those hadn't been seen here all the days before, and this in an area, in which it really wouldn't be necessary to do a big clean up, because far and wide nobody lives here anymore, the people are more inland in the city. The Federal government has arrived in force all through the hard hit areas so I don't see any real evidence here - just the bias of the reporters.
Exactly.
But understand, he's still got 3 more years, and there is not one thing they can do about it >:>
Another "damned if he does, damned if he don't" moment from the America/Bush-hating Commies. They'd whine if you hung 'em with a new rope.

"Entlang seiner Route hätte Räumtrupps vor Bushs Besuch Schutt weggeräumt und Leichen geborgen. Dann sei Bush wieder abgereist "und mit ihm", so Rüggeberg, "die ganzen Hilfstrupps". An der Lage in Biloxi habe sich sonst nichts verändert, es fehle an allem."
Basically, the guard cleaned up the 1st area of visit by moving the corpses. At Biloxi, things were left as they were for Bush to see everything.
The article seems to be "straight-forward" reporting.
A lot better that Reuters or AP.
And the Nazi tirade ended with a Heil Hitler.
Who cares what these krauts think. They don't get a vote.
