I believe National Guard and State Police are using this scanner.
Not much happening right now, but it sounded like the crowd was getting out of hand at the SuperDome.
They are transporting people out of the Dome to Houston, not telling them their destination until the bus is underway.
I also heard that UNO students are now going to ULL--hard to believe that Privateers are gonna now be stinkin' Rajun Cajuns! :)
Look, I already explained where I found this in Post #56. The feed seems to be working fine for me.
If you don't like it, switch.
I've also asked for people to post other links to NOLA scanners. So far no one has.
I posted it because I find it interesting. If you don't, fine.
That's incredible...
streaming audio sometimes doesnt show up on that MS modem indicator...
a taped loop
haha
yes, and thank you for the correction of LLU to ULL.
What agency would OEP be?
What is WRONG with you? Switch to Decaf.
Wasn't really correctin' ya...they like calling themselves U of La and drop off the extra L. But they've got ULMonroe down there too and that ticks them off. But I usually call them SouthWest LA. That's their old name and it really flames 'em...but then again, they're a major rival of my alma mater...:)
I'm not sure what you're implying, FGS.
Office of Emergency Preparedness
I will post you a full description soon
I knew you were not. Was there three weeks ago. Have a friend who has 12 people from NO staying at his house while he is in Hawaii.
Thanks.
Not much happening on the feed right now...
Sounds like the most interesting conversations may be happening on the "car-to-car" channel.
Wow...if you gotta evac, Hawaii is a good place to do it.
The 12 people might prefer being in Hawaii, but all things considered, I guess they're happy just to be out of New Orleans.
he planned the trip two months ago.
Good timing!
General Graham at SuperDome wants to know where buses are for tomorrow's evacuation of Dome "refugees"
Col. Smart doesn't know the buses' location. Sounds like a lack of buses.
10-97 around here used to mean "Officer on scene."
Reaching "critical mass" with buses and meeting with the LT Gov...wonder if they'll take over Greyhound for the task?
