Cindy Sheehan quote: "This country is not worth dying for"

Interesting quote from Cindy.. Agree??

"I take responsibility partly for my son’s death, too. I was raised in a country by a public school system that taught us that America was good, that America was just. America has been killing people, like my sister over here says, since we first stepped on this continent, we have been responsible for death and destruction. I passed on that bullshit to my son and my son enlisted. I’m going all over the country telling moms: “This country is not worth dying for. If we’re attacked, we would all go out. We’d all take whatever we had. I’d take my rolling pin and I’d beat the attackers over the head with it. But we were not attacked by Iraq. {applause} We might not even have been attacked by Osama bin Laden if {applause}. 9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con agenda through and, if I would have known that before my son was killed, I would have taken him to Canada. I would never have let him go and try and defend this morally repugnant system we have. The people are good, the system is morally repugnant." Quote from Cindy Sheehan in SF at anti-war rally - April 27th, 2005

A few minutes ago, I saw her ad run on Fox. That combined with this quote should give Americans a good idea of who Cindy Sheehan is and what she believes.

A pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan would leave us right where we were on 9/10/2001. Possibly worse off as Iran is building / has built a bomb. The disruption that has largely emasculated AQ would disappear and we would be facing the Kurds as well, having let them down twice. The Joy in the Islamic community worldwide would be so great as to increase the number of persons willing to openly attack us and others. India, Philippines, Thailand, Russia, etc., would face a ten fold increase in attacks.

The worst thing is that the Democrats and the Leftist intellectuals know all of this.

Suurender Cindy needs to be reminded of what General Patton said: The point of war is not to die for your country, it's to make some other dumb bastard die for HIS country.

My friend in the next office just screamed at me "how in the hell could I think that she was talking about America. She's was talking about Iraq!!!!!!!!!" At least he was my liberal friend.

Could that be possible?

This woman is great. She is the energizer bunny of idiocy. She eventually will be speaking against the soldiers themselves, not just the war. That will be great because it will put to end the myth of being for the soldiers and against the war. Liberals always go to that level of rage when their voices are not listened to.

It is a shame that a young man gave his life and his mother uses his death as a platform to try to unravel everything that he did. She is and always has been an liberal idiot. I am reminded of Len Bias's mom on her anti-drug speaking tour after her son died from drug usage. Some of these mothers never see the death of their children in any other light than in that which will engrandize themselves.

It is obvious to see why her husband divorced her, I only wonder why it took so long. She must have been hell to live around or to be the son of. She sounds like a perfectly selfish woman. Sad.

Your comment made me re-read that crap again more carefully. No, I take it she IS talking about America because she goes on to say how if we're attacked she'd grab her rolling pin. The first few days of her I chalked up to a mother crazed with grief but now I believe she is just completely a crazed ultra liberal. I causes me to pause and wonder what her relationship with her son was like. That may have been discussed but I missed it. I mean how could she spawn a patriotic son who gave it all for us.

What is funny, not really, about Cindy is I knew all about her before Freepers did their homework on her. She fits the profile of a lunatic lib who hates America, our military and GW with every molecule of her body.

Cindy Sheehan quote: "This country is not worth dying for",

What I think she really means, is that to her and her Lib friends, "this country is worth fighting against"...
