Your attitude reminds me of the old Italian adage to "hold your nose and vote for the Christian Democrats" (the communists being the other major party in Italy at that time).
BTW,I thought it was Edward Cox,Nixon's son-in-law.Who's Charles Cox,or John Spencer for that matter.
