The irony of Ariel Sharon taking action today to kick Jews out of Israel is immense. Today is one of the darkest days in jewish history according to an article in the WorldNetDaily (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=45760).
According to columnist Aaron Klein, Jews in Israel and around the world are marking the darkest day of their history (the ninth day of the Jewish month of Av, the date on the lunar calendar on which the First and Second Temples were destroyed. Other more recent tragedies occurred on the same date, such as the outbreak of pogroms against Jews during the First Crusade, the expulsion of Jews from Spain and later from England, and the crushing of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising in Germany.) by fasting and reading the Book of Lamentations.
Meanwhile, the Jewish state prepares to drive its own people from Gaza and parts of the West Bank, and a the nation once again braces for the possibility of tragedy as Jews turn on Jews as the residents being driven from their homes protest the military's efforts to get them out.. How this can be seen as a critical part of the "road map" for peace is beyond comprehension.
Yeah, well this was the day I married my first wife!
This was the day I got the Blackberry. It's definitely not a coincidence.
No doubt, and Al Qaeda will get a new sea port to use as it works with the PA.
