Those people are sick and twisted..
I can't type what I'm thinking, or I'll get banned..

There's always a possibility they won't show up. They were scheduled to attend a funeral in California a few days ago, but didn't make it.
What a bunch of whack jobs.
What happened to rendering to Caesar what was Caesar's and to God what was God's?
I have long thought Phelps was more of an operative designed to smear all devoutly religious folks. Note that this same group was basically what killed the marriage amendment in Kansas.
Heavens Gate cult
look quite rational and well organized by comparison.
Same here.
May I suggest that you rally the vets in your area to counter these turds. Talk to the vets organizations I'm sure they have some creative ideas.
Just think of all the soldiers who gave their lives for the right of these pigs from hell to do what they do! Outrageous!
Two words come to mind: Justifiable Homocide.
I am from McKenzie, Tn. Yes the protestors came and were allowed to demonstrate across the road from the funeral home. The citizens of McKenzie were made to put down their signs that said Thank you Dusty and Dusty we love you. We were given the option of putting down the signs or go to jail. The protestors held signs that read "Dusty is in hell", "Thank God for IED's" "Dusty's life was worthles" "Killed for a fag nation", etc. They were even escorted out of town. According to their website they are protesting the funeral of all soldiers killed by IED's. I have written a letter to the governor of Tennessee, asking for something to be done. will let you know if i hear anything back from him. don't figure i will, can't infringe on someones constitutional liberities, blah blah blah.
WHY? What were the reasons? That sure doesn't seem fair.
the police said it was because we did not file the proper paperwork with the city in order to counter their protests. blah, blah blah. The news media did not publish any of the protest but did show in our local paper this week. I am proud of the way the citizens handled the situation, we sang the National Anthem and America the beautiful. I have tried to contact the "church" group but the email is not valid. I was going to let them know that what they posted on their website was not entirely true. They wanted to stay longer but the police told them that they were only allowed 30 minutes of protection, at the end of the 30 minutes they high-tailed it out of town.
Wow. Was there a no standing ordinance on that sidewalk whereby one had to get permission to peacefully demonstrate?
well truthfullfy at the time the citizens were everywhere. We live in a small town and where the funeral home is located there are no sidewalks, so we where in the parking lots of other buildings, standing along the roadway and everywhere else that you can imagine. all in all the police said it was just to keep any trouble from being started. I say the trouble started when the group came from Kansas. Also according to this weeks paper the flag poles at the local VFW were destoyed and so was the American flag, the POW/MIA flag and our state flag. No one saw who did it but I think it is coincidence that it happen the night they arrived. I truely hape no one else has to witness what we saw and that no other family has to be victim to this group.
