The alleged behavior is inexcusable, but Hooper's comments, as usual, are over the top. If anything, there has been next to no anti-Muslim rhetoric.

There always have been --- and always will be --- some jerks who are looking to hurt or intimidate someone and will do so on the basis of race, religion, sex, or whatever. However, I would not be surprised to learn that this account is fictitious. CAIR never provides any real evidence, but they like to claim that there were many anti-Muslim attacks that occurred in the US following September 11.
