The Teamsters and the Service Employees International Union are leaving the AFL-CIO and taking over an estimated two million workers with them. The AFL-CIO represented 56 unions before the split, and Teamsters President James P. Hoffa prepared his workers by declaring "a new era for American workers." "We proposed that the AFL-CIO embark on a new course of action that would not only protect our existing Teamsters members and their families but lead to thousands of new working men and women to have the opportunity to organize into a strong union that would give them the chance to achieve the American dream to own their own home, send their kids to college and plan a strong retirement," he said.
A total of seven unions have left and have banded together to form a new umbrella group called the Change to Win Coalition with the goal of reversing declines in union membership. Apparently none of them realize that increasing demands by the unions, particularly to the health, welfare, and pension funds have resulted in mre job loss than any other factor in this country. Union leaders throughout this country's history have been notorious for using these funds as personal expense accounts. . .

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of mob-mentality thugs.
I wonder if we'll see the riots we saw when they were all trying to get together....?
I wonder if a bigger bunch of pinkos will take over.
Ever wonder why the "made in America" label is soooo hard to find? because UNIONS made fair international competition illegal. And organizing against government and service jobs - ludicrous. It's what makes the DMV such a fun place to go too.
