It would be a dud, but I doubt there is/was no upkeep.

Savage is Brilliant, Crazy, Intelligent, Entertaining, Different, Dark, Rants, Manic Depressive, tells great old stories of life in the 1950's NYC and is very funny. He gets off attacking Republicans and Bush too much and has no clue how the real world of Politics works. But, I love the guy he says it like you would like to say it some times.

We don't have any agreements about maintaining localized nukes... especially if we don't know they are there!

"If the nukes are too old or if there is no way a nuke could be smuggled in, Bush should go on TV and state these facts. It's time W explains the chess move we made in Iraq so the left dodos understand it and reassure the public that we have no nuke threat"
Why give away your information, maybe they think they are still here, maybe we have them and are waiting for the sleeper cells to show up for work. In war you do not want everything in the press, some things, most things, are best left to the Military. This is a 100 year war against Wahhabism after all.

I agree. How many campus commies are there in this country who would be willing to hide something in their office safe from time to time? "Buried" doesn't always have to mean something that has had dirt shoveled over it.

The Author was just on Michael Savage. I believe it but I don't at the same time. I have seen too many of these articles I guess.
I heard that too, and I totally think Savage let him off way too easy. Every time he made one of those claims, you heard a I-don't-quite-believe-you grunt from Savage, and he'd then ask the guy if there was any proof. The author would then say, yeah there's proof, and Savage didn't press him for any.
I know you have to be nice to your guests, mostly, but geez Savage... press the guy a little. Make him back some of this stuff up. If there's proof, let's see it, and more importantly, let the law enforcement types see it.

It's probably true but they haven't used them YET because they are trying to accomplish their immediate goals of collapsing Western Civil. and driving our culture out of sandland without permanently "polluting" our land,,they would like to take over and MOVE here also.....Just hope we've told them any big moves on their part will result in destruction of Mecca , Medina, Riyhad, Tehran, etc....

I would think the dyn-o-mite or other age-sensitive 'activating mechanisms' would have aged sufficiently in some of those 'devices' so as to be a) a genuine hazard unto whomever was 'housing' said devices (MUCH before they are moved into position) or b) rendered unusable ...
Suffice it to say, I think on several different grounds this story's basis is flawed ...

What makes you think that these assets have not been "upgraded" like every other Russian weapons system over the last 50 years?

He was on Coast to Coast for two hours last night. IMHO- He seemed to know what he was talking about.

I thought that you had to regularly install a new tritium trigger for these things to work. If just a couple of the charges don't go off simultaneously, all you have is a dirty bomb. So I find all this very hard to believe.

"any weapons hidden that long won't work."
The triggers might not work, but the fissile material would make a dandy dirty bomb.
