If President Bush had purged the government of all Democrat holdovers, like Clinton did in purging all of the US Attorneys in the country, the press would have gone wild about Bush. Of course, the press actually went mild about Clinton for his purge.

Anyway, Bush and Rove made a calculated decision to allow some termites (excuse me, Democrats) to remain in the national woodwork. Joseph Wilson IV is one of the proofs that that was a bad choice.
