Are Amber Deahn and Ashley Smith excellent and calm women who did the right thing under pressure. I think so. The similarity seems interesting.
The alert waitress spots missing 8-year-old girl in COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho at a Denny's restaurant around 2 a.m. Saturday. She felt something about the child's face was familiar. Amber Deahn kept the girl occupied until police could arrive at the restaurant. She told ABC News yesterday that one of the things she did to keep the abductor in the restaurant long enough for police to arrive was to read the dessert list ......... very, very slowly.
From http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,600145890,00.html: "Cautiously and carefully she talked to the girl and the man with her, bringing her a milk shake and offering her crayons to keep her occupied. The child looked so much like photos of Shasta Groene, who had been missing since her mother, brother and mother's boyfriend were slain a few miles away in May, that the waitress called police.
"It clicked in my brain," said Deahn, 24. Her restaurant and businesses across the area had been displaying photos of the girl and her brother since the youngsters disappeared six weeks earlier."
Amber and Ashley ......... two great American women.
ping ............. to level-headed courage and care
I'll ping to that!
Have a great 4th, too.
A great 'freedom' day for Shasta thanks to Amber (alert).
Thanks!
......... just PLEASE act like an adult on this.
It's apparent that the women in this country seem to be the smartest AND the most willing to make things happen.
It's my opinion that if you and folks like you were in the Congress.............. this country could be saved.
