Billy Graham Supports Pro-Choice Senator and Ex-President
Canada Free Press ^ | Thursday, June 30, 2005 | Nathan Tabor

Over the years I have appreciated and admired what Billy Graham has stood for and against. His integrity has been near perfect. When most evangelists have slipped or stuck their foot in their mouth Billy Graham has stood on the Word of God, without wavering.

During the past six decades, his message of Jesus Christ has been heard by over 210 million in 185 countries. He has been counsel to presidents, a passionate evangelist, a loving husband, and a caring father.

This past weekend in New York, it was Graham’s much-anticipated last revival. Instead of focusing on his revival, Graham used it as a launching pad for something else: The Clintons.

Graham and the Clintons?

Pro-Life meets Pro-Choice? Pro-Family meets Pro-Gay?

Yes, you read it right. It took me several minutes to digest the thought and I still haven’t adjusted to it. Billy Graham had my admiration and respect for his foundation in morality and values. What is he doing?

I need not worship at the knee of Billy Graham's life history to determine if what he claims to be of Christ is of Christ. The WORD is the standard.

Another false accusation. Are you going for a record here?

I agree. He, too, is a sinner saved by grace.

I believe that incident humbled him greatly.............as well it should.

LOL got a news flash there are more than this one Scripture. Cutting and pasting won't cut it.

You got to figure out what LOVE is first. Hillry becomes president you can thank your idol for giving her a supposed godly cover. Just kidding, you know.

Christ's WORDS have never ever been popular to the majority.

I have a serious question for you. Do you have Jesus Christ in your heart? Have you surrendered your life to Him, and accepted God's love for you through the sacrifice of the blood of His Son on the Cross and His redemption for your own sin?

(btw, I posted the passage with the specifics on the fruit of the Spirit, because you accused him of not having them in spite of the fact that Billy Graham has exhibited them over 50 years, and I have seen none of them in you..........therefore, I would like a straight answer to whether or not you are born again).

Without doubt, the worst of Billy Graham was the exposure of his anti-Semitic comments to President Nixon.

Clearly Billy slipped up there. But in context you have to consider what many of the early Church Fathers said about Jews and what Luther said about Jews.

Billy Graham is the patriarch of the Modern Evangelical movement. The modern Evangelical movement has been the best friend the Jews and Israel have ever had. In that sense Billy Graham has done a lot to repair the rift that had been created so many centuries ago -- chiefly IMO, because of the replacement theology that has more or less dominated all of Christendom prior to the 19th Century.

Yes. Have you never read John 3?

Please answer the question before this conversation continues.

It makes a difference if I am debating a non-believer. I don't know if you are a Christian (a real one that is), because there is much pride, and no evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit (as enumerated in Galatians 5) in anything you've said on this thread.

I apologize. All this time I have been taking you to task for denigrating a fellow Christian and I had simply assumed that you also were a Christian. A Wrongheaded Christian, but a Christian nonetheless.

I'm sorry. I had no idea.

So you want to know about being "born again"?

Perhaps this will help:

You are NOT going to like my response.

I have read many times John 3!!!!

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, " Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Now homework assignment for you, check out this word "again" and see what it really means. Whole religions are founded and based upon the literal word as a spiritual experience yet the word does not mean what these religions claim.

Check it out.

This word again is actually "above", now correctly written it is born from above, is not the soul sent from the Heavenly Father to inhabit the flesh vessel?

So to ask me if I am born "again" misses what we are instructed here, of course I am born from above, that soul was place in the womb at conception as we are told in the description of what took place with the conception of Christ.

I told you, you were not going to like my response, because you have been churched with a limited number of scriptures of who and what is Christ and have ignored the rest of the story.

Now if you will read further in John 3 at verse 5 Christ further expounds upon what the born from above is about.

4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"

So what does Christ say, v 5 "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

We have two separate entities discussed here. Interesting what that a child is carried in a sack of water til birth???? WE are told that the 'spirit' which is the intellect of the soul is place in the flesh body at conception. Have you not read of those who refused to be born of woman and left their habitation and who along with Satan are the only ones at this point are marked for the death sentence, i.e. hell?

So when you ask are you "born again" do you know you are asking if I am born from above????

Now I am familiar with the routine of what is require to be asked and said to fit in this ministry, problem is it misses the whole point of what Christ was teaching.

Why in the world do you continue to make these accusations based on your own prideful assumptions? You are completely and totally ignorant, and prove it in every post.

Now, answer my question, without arrogance, and in truth. Have you been born FROM ABOVE? (YES, I know that's what it means......I was BORN FROM ABOVE almost 50 years ago and am well taught in Scripture........the WHOLE of it).

You still haven't answered my question.........ARE you a Christian, as Jesus stated in John 3?

I see a lot of spouting from you, but I still see no fruit in your life, and I see no willingness to answer a simple question with a simple answer.

As P-Marlowe, I am beginning to believe that you are not a brother/sister in Christ at all. (I pray you read his link, and begin your journey of faith that begins at the foot of the Cross with repentance).

Please answer P-Marlowe's question, as well as mine, Just.

Which Scriptures do YOU follow, that WE, as Christians, don't follow?

And who taught you which ones to use against us?

Yes I do FEEEEELLLLL the supposed LOVE!!!!

I am a Christian following CHRIST, and none other, He was so loved as well. You sure have a very strange kind of 'love', gives off the feeling of dead wood ready for a pruning.

Just so you know in advance, when the Spirit stirs me I will continue to speak out against those who USE Christ for their own self gain, and promote others who stand against Christ.

So long slumber on.

As I said before, we WERE trying to chastise you as a fellow brother in Christ for denigrating another fellow brother in Christ.

However lately you have been posting things which IMO seem to point to the fact that we do not share the same faith. In that case I have no business chastising you for your denigration of Billy Graham. I apologize for the harshness of my language, as I believe that in chastising a brother we are given more liberty than when confronting a non-believer. Instead my prayer now is that you actually do come to faith in the Jesus Christ that Graham preaches.

I'm sure that you would agree that the Jesus Christ that Graham preaches and the Jesus Christ that you believe in are not exactly the same person. Agreed?

Sir your tag line reads..."(Retired Army Chaplain and Proud of It!)"

Now I ask you where is my error????

I do not know much about the Mormons, I have spent the past 12 + years reading, studying, and seeking understanding. What I found is that what we are told in Amos has come to pass.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of HEARING the words of the LORD:

Now we have the LORD GOD saying HE will send a famine, that makes every preacher/teacher/priest suspect. I grew up in denomination-ism where the goal was to out preach every other preacher.

We are told that Christ crucified is what is to be taught, well that would start in Genesis and continue through the rest of the book, specifically Psalms 22. I do not hear many Christian churches preach Psalms 22 do you???

My duty as instructed is a "seed planter", it is not my business what happens after I plant.
