I got myself a 1.75 liter bottle of Flor de Caña rum to last me the rest of the week so I don't have to ration myself like last week. In fact I have enough Flor de Caña to share the bottle with Mary Matalin while we discuss a DUmmie FUnnies book (with CD-ROM insert for related comix stories) deal. So if Mary Matalin wants to experience an INCREDIBLE rum experience, she needs only to contact me at
PJ-Comix. I predict that Mary will be SO HAPPY after a few glasses of Flor de Caña that a book deal would be immediately forthcoming.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

These retyped memos of the destroyed copies of the originals remind me of the old Stephen Wright joke:
I have the authentic original axe that George Washington used to cut down the cherry tree. Of course, I did have to replace the handle....and the head. It occupies the same space.

Top ten? Actually whether the documents are real or not they don't prove anything about lying about the Iraq war (kinda like the TNG documents). If they are real, they merely show that plans were being made for a possible war, if fake, they show the desperation of the DUmmies.

Smith just loves retyping so much he didnt bother to ink out sections of the copies to protect his source To be fair, it is possible that there are handwritten notes or other marks on th page that would enable an investigator to link even a photocopy back to the copy of the original document it came from (assuming multiple official copies exist). That said, without the originals, there is no story here at all. Of course, even if the document is an exact copy of an authentic document, there's no story, but that's another (non-)story...

Come on, Charlie Brown. Come and get the Downing Street Memo. It's your best chance for defeating Chimpy McSmirk. I won't pull it away again. Not like the National Guard memos. And Gannon. And...

It is obvious that for most DUers history begins when they wake up in the morning.
The "memo" is a political debate, musings, argument, that we heard for the entire 14 months before the war.
Actually, for over a decade since Saddam surrendered in the Gulf war, and since then had refused to provide the proper evidence of the destruction of his WMD, the question was, should we trust him? The US said no, (under Clinton), and agreed with Blair on regime change, Blair has said for years, "not just regime change, I want to go the UN under the WMD banner". And in the end, we did.
Of course the leftwing conspirazoids have no idea since most were not paying attention until 9/11, or were about 10 years old when the Gulf war ended.

I gotta tell ya, reading the rantings of these jackasses is like watching "Smokey and The Bandit" and Jackie Gleason's futile attempts to apprehend the Bandit

So lets take stock for a moment. We have had Danny Rather and his forgeries, Eason Jordan and his lies, and Newsweek's fairy tales of horror and mayhem reported as news.
Now we have copies of copies of an alleged memo that no one admits to nor can produce.
And anyone wonders why we're skeptical? There's more hard evidence for flying pigs!
To: PJ-Comix
I really don't even care if the Memo was accurate and legitimate. There is nothing there. The Democrats have been saying this for the last 4 years.
To: PJ-Comix
The memo wasn't retyped and faxed from Amarillo like the article says. That is a typo, it came from a small hole in the wall called Armadillo. Actually it was a democRAT hole. I love watching the DUmmies get their hopes up only to be dashed!

wasn't it just last week that Pied Piper Pitt breathlessly declared June 16 to be the day that would change history and that nothing would ever be the same again. . . ? Why, yes, PJ, it was. Last week, Will "The Pitt and the Ponderous" Pitt--that Jahawaharaiohawal Nehru of the nattering nabob set, that modern-day Martin Luther nailing his feces theses to the White House door--Will Pitt declared that Thursday, June 16, 2005 would be . . .
THE DAY WHEN EVERYTHING FINALLY CHANGED
So is he ready to recant yet?

[The Downing Street Memos are definitely as authentic as the Texas Air National Guard letters. . . .] The Downing Street Memos are even as authentic as Andy Stephenson's medical records.
