I have no medical background but I learned a whole lot more than I ever wanted to when our daughter was told she had Crohn's Disease. She died on 1/15/04 from complications of that. In some instances, we knew more than her doctors did because we did a lot of research on what she was taking and on Crohn's, too.

My sister-in-law has Crohn's....and it's getting worse....they just put in a shunt for nutrients..the thing that irks me...she doesn't do what the doctors tell her....she won't give up the bad habits...and doesn't start any good habits....from what I've read on Crohn's...the worst case scenario is getting bagged...not to delve into your personal life but did your daughter follow doctors orders and try to lead a healthy lifestyle?
