It feels good to put a scar on the face of the enemy, it should feel better when You know the enemy is not coming back. I reckon I should just shut up, before I rock the boat, and get a ruckus going. If I had good sense, that is what I would do, but, it is beyond Me. I don't have a clue what I will do, but it damn sure won't be nothing. Goodnight!
Don't drink the bong water.
I wish I had a clue what you are talking about.
-handing sageb1 30 hits of ecstacy, 5 sheets of acid, 2 bottles of whiskey, and some mongolian cow mushrooms.
Instructions: Take all at once and you will understand the above 'words of the wise'.
I too have seen the sheep sleep with the watermelons. Soon, we will be doing nothing without anything distracting us from the absence of the distractions that so bothered us as we consumed the chili peppers from the middle of the melons.
Did you ever consider running for the U.S. Senate?
WTF?
Thought is was an early opus draft.
Sorry, I suppose you haven't been playing the game as long as I have. From my perspective, comparing what we started with, to what we have now, we are behind the curve.
Every time I look around, another politician, pretending to represent me, is selling out, more worried about the next election, than about the task at hand.
You may be all excited because we "won" the last elections, but the effort is futile if we don't act like winners. If the democrats were in control, they would be rabidly and rapidly deconstructing everything we stand for, but, never worry, the democrats don't have to, the RINOs are doing it for them.
What happened to smaller government? Less money pi$$ed away in useless social and other programs which serve only to inflate employment numbers and spend our hard earned dollars--if they are benign enough to not be actively F***ing with the little guy over chicken sh!t?
It just hasn't happened.
People who would even consider the likes of McCain for POTUS need to have their heads examined, and if the Republicans are going to keep their majority, they had better start acting like they have a majority for starters, and quit acting like wannabe Democrats.
Like you, I am not satisfied, but there is a brief respite in that for now, the RKBA is not getting hammered at the Federal Level. All that could change in a heartbeat.
As for Ahnold, (I don't live in CA but Aside from the fact that anyone short of Mussolini would have been a better choice than Grey Davis), how is anyone surprised that he acts a bit Kennedy, considering who he is married to? The hand that holds the short hairs rocks the world.
The pity is that without serious contenders who will push for all the things that get waved around come campaign time, full time, we are really stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Do we unseat incumbents to try to get better people, at the risk of losing votes to the Dems?
If not, then we can expect more of the same, as Washington (and elsewhere) settle back into the mold of 'bidness' as usual.
The shakeup that the Republican Revolution was supposed to be has not materialized, but the tools put in place have the Dems creaming their jeans over the hope of getting to wield them someday. Imagine the political jihad that would ensue if Hillary got the opportunity to use the "stroke of the pen, law of the land" gig with the powers inherent in the Patriot Act, and you begin to get the picture.
Yeah, I know you know. But the clock is ticking and I wonder how many other people are sitting back and looking at the big picture?
Either we all reevaluate the current administration (not the POTUS, per se, although anyone is open to question or we are sleeping), but the whole shooting match, or we are losing direction fast. NO wonder the bunch on the Hill can't lead, they forgot where they were supposed to be heading.
Teddy did you switch whiskey brands again?
Are you OK?
OK? What is "OK" about anything?
We are at the point where optimism almost equates with insanity.
I can sense your concern for me, personally, and I really appreciate it.
I guess my biggest problem is the realization that almost 50 years of fighting has come to nothing. I feel like a damned fool, I could have spent the time raising hell and chasing women, instead of bucking the tide, and things would still have worked out about the same.
Never post while under the influence....
Speaking as one who HAS spent 57 years drinking whisky, chasing women, and making every effort to alter my consiousness, I can uneqivocally state that you are RIGHT ARM!, FARM OUT! and OUT OF STATE!
Hang on to your hobby horse, catch the brass ring and sound the alarm for changes they are a timing.
Salvador Dali will be here for the service at any moment.
