Kerry and Edwards both brought it up because they were SURE that if the Republican base "found out" that Cheney has a <*gasp*> gay daughter, he would become a fatally flawed candidate and the Bush/Cheney ticket would go down in flames. Didn't work, did it?

I think President Bush has the ability to be focused and stay above the fray. He sees the big picture, and he doesn't let himself be distracted. That's how he accomplishes as much as he does. But it is frustrating to see some attacks go seemingly unanswered when I'm over here thinking that they could be answered sooooooooo easily!
