The People's Truth Forum (PTF) is hosting this educational symposium is to heighten public awareness with respect to national security.
Warmly invited are those who share PTF's concerns for the future of our nation -- especially those interested in learning more about Islamic terrorism and the threat it poses to future generations.
Speakers
Harvey Kushner, PhD.
An internationally recognized authority on terrorism and related security matters, Kushner has advised and trained numerous governmental agencies, including the FBI, FAA, INS, and U.S. Customs. He has advised the U.S. Probation Department on criminal investigations, intelligence and terrorism, and briefed a variety of elected government officials on matters pertaining to terrorism. Kushner's private sector clients have ranged from chemical manufacturers to multinational financial institutions.
Brigitte Gabriel
A former anchor for world news in the Middle East and a prominent Arab-American journalist, M. Gabriel will provide a first-hand account of her experience with Islamic Jihad. Born in Southern Lebanon, she survived a bombing in which her family's home was reduced to rubble by radical Muslim forces. Because her mother was seriously wounded, the family sought medical treatment in Israel and found a place of refuge where the generosity and compassion of the people forced her to rethink the indoctrination she had received about evil Jews.
Judith S. Jacobson, DrPH, MBA
An epidemiologist on the Columbia University faculty, Dr. Jacobson is also the vice-president of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME) and the coordinator of the Columbia University SPME chapter. Three years ago, in response to academic Israel-bashing on many campuses, she helped Edward S. Beck of the Susquehanna Institute to found SPME, a grass-roots, faculty-driven organization that now has >600 members and 19 campus-based chapters worldwide.
PTF is currently in negotiations with other noted terrorism experts.
