I am very sad to report --- the story IS true. The pornographic books were distributed to youth. Below are Official Statements, more will be added as they come in. Fenway Community Health expressed regret for accidentally making available HIV prevention materials designed for people over 18 years of age at an April 30 conference attended by middle school and high school-age students, educators, public health workers, college students and others.

"Fenway Community Health regrets accidentally making available a small number of copies of the Little Black Book, an HIV prevention publication for gay and bisexual men over the age of 18, at an event where young people were present," said Dr. Stephen Boswell, Fenway Community Health's President & CEO.

We were very pleased to be able to host this GLSEN event. However, I am very concerned that the conversation about this conference not focus on this document but, instead, remain on the positive nature of the experience, which was very well received by our attending students. Moreover, I want to be very clear that, while we will revisit our procedures for granting access to outside groups wanting to utilize our facilities, we will continue to emphasize our core values in all that we do here in Brookline. Specifically, our core value of "Respect for Human Differences" demands that we not only ensure that all students learn in an environment that is safe, respectful and supportive, but that we continually seek out ways of educating our students, parents and community members of the need to respect the views and lifestyles of all of our citizens.

What weaselly doubletalk! Basically, the Brookline superintendant is saying that we were sorry we got caught, and we hope that this will not be used to prevent our indoctrination of young people in the morality and normality of homosexual activity. And also, when have these public school officials and their gay activist friends EVER shown any respect or tolerance for those with traditional religious or moral beliefs who believe, as they have a right to do in a free society, that homosexual activity is immoral?

The Little Black Book, a publication for twenty-something gay and bisexual men, contains information on preventing the transmission of HIV and other STDs as well as public health resources and information on social support organizations.

No, it was a How-to on various sexual practices, including fisting, rimming, toys, watersports (don't ask), etc.

And they say The next best thing to having sex with another guy (or guys)..., so they encourage multiple partners. This is anything but a health resource.
