Wow! If they started begging money Feb 15, and Mr Pitt said they had 25k in 100 hours as of May 3rd, can you imagine how much they have now? Those estimates of 300k may be way under the actual amount. These guys may have pulled off the scam of the century. This might be approaching millions.
Holy Cow!
Isn't this from the first thread? Hey, I'm convinced.
All threads soliciting funds for the felonious Andy in DUmmieland have gone so long now, without responses, that they are practically "archived," not on any "active" or "high traffic" pages of DUmmieland at all.
One has to really dig and dig, to find. One suspects the felonious Andy and his infatuated accomplice the DUmmie "sfexpat2000" are trying to find a new option, as this one has withered away.
Or perhaps the Grand DUmmie "Skinner" is in Baltimore this afternoon, trying to get a handle on what is really going on. Who knows.
The last message from the felonious Andy is from early Friday afternoon; the last message from his infatuated accomplice the DUmmie "sfexpat2000" is from late Saturday morning.
HamdenRice (1000+ posts) Fri May-13-05 01:09 PM Original message The REAL Andy Stephenson scandal Edited on Fri May-13-05 01:10 PM by HamdenRice Obviously the idea that Andy's illness was a scandalous hoax is false. But in all the urgency to raise money for the surgery and then in the uproar over the allegations, we have forgotten the real scandal: That Johns Hopkins would not perform life saving surgery without a cash deposit.

sfexpat2000 (1000+ posts) Sat May-14-05 11:48 AM Response to Reply #51 58. Problem is, even after Andy came up with the money they wanted to turn him away because he had no insurance. And, they nearly did until they got a little public focus and some calls from journalists following this story.
Uh, I wonder what "journalists" have been following this story (other than, of course the hapless DUmmie PUnidiot "William Pitiful")? Has anyone read any stories of the felonious Andy and his plight in any newspapers, or seen any on television, or heard any on radio?
If this ever "breaks" into the media--which I doubt it will--it will probably "break" in a way not helpful to the felonious Andy and his infatuated accomplice the DUmmie "sfexpat2000."
Very timely! I was just running through the thread to see if any explosive news was happening in regard to this on-going comedy! I saw the pictures of Undie with the "lovely" ladies--he sure looked like he was having a good ole time for someone supposedly dying, don't you think?!
Do you know how big the 'mass' was in the diagnostic reports? I've been looking for several days now. Thanks.
I got it from post 30 and 160 from here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/1400691/posts
Unfortunately not from DU. Anyone have access to archives over there?
From all the info in this thread as I understand it:
Supposedly Undies "partner" Termite mailed the cashier's checks, dated May 5 and 6, from Seattle sometime between the 6th-10th. (Undie stated that the checks were there in Baltimore before the 11th)
OK...how about trying to explain this one:
Charles' posted photo shows Undie and Termite together in Ohio on the 8th. If the checks were indeed cut on the 5th and 6th, wouldn't it be logical to assume that Termite would have brought them with him and personally handed them to Undie.
It makes no sense for Termite to not bring the checks to
Ohio. Are we to believe that the Termite was frolicking in Ohio (undoubtably using funds from the DUmmies' Undie $ Drive) then flew all the way back to Seattle to then mail the checks to some mailroom where they conveniently turn up lost?
This makes the whole losing the checks story even more unbelievable.
There was that question asked about how big the mass was but he didn't respond. I found this on the thread

79. What about the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance?
They're supposed to be really good.
Sooo I looked them up. Seems to me he didn't need to go out of state at all.
http://www.seattlecca.org/
It is a cancer research hospital, plus they have clinical trial programs for pancreatic cancer, and I wonder if they do Whipple surgery also.
I really want to see the diagnostic sheets that have disappeared.
That is NOT Termite. That guy with Undie in the pic is DUmmie "goodboy".
My bad... I thought that photo was of Partner Termite.
You know, last night I had an interesting conversation with someone in Bellingham, Washington, who actually knows the felonious Andy; in person and all that.
He says, yeah, the felonious Andy is a fat slob with a bad and greasy body-odor--to which I asked, well then, what is his attraction?
This has really bothered me throughout--ever since he garnered all that sympathy for being fired by Bev Harris in late December, early January--this guy has always struck me as "sleaze" from day one.
I know a lot of fat slobs with bad and greasy body-odor--some here on Free Republic may exaggerate, and describe themselves that way, even--but none who have ever struck me with the gut instinct, "this guy is bad news."
In fact, some of my good friends are actually fat slobs with bad and greasy body-odor.....if one wishes to describe them bluntly and impartially.
But why no feelings of revulsion towards them, but this gut-wrenching disgust of the felonious Andy?
This guy in Bellingham, Washington, who actually knows the felonious Andy--a friend of mine had "discovered" him (no, this friend of mine is not of the same sexual denomination as the felonious Andy)--told me, "well, you have to meet him in person.
"He's a hustler, and a good one. In person, he can charm, with his gift of gab; I've never met anybody as good a talker as Andy.....you have to meet him in person, and listen to him....."
Okay, that explains it.
Well, myself being deaf, I imagine I am rather more, uh, "immune" to fast-talk, charming talk, cajoling talk, seducing talk, than are hearing people.
Obviously the felonious Andy is awesome with "conversational skills," wherein apparently lies his attraction, which of course is utterly "invisible" to me.
By the way, one imagines that since the felonious Andy is greatly concerned with the plight of the poor and the working classes, that he thinks, often, of that unpaid bill of $10,700 for sandwich-store supplies, which put one of the "little people" and his supply-business in dangerous financial straits?
Seems to me that two verifiable things need to take place.
Undie needs to show a legitimate, verifiable diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, and Undie needs to have surgery for it at Johns Hopkins.
Anything less is wire fraud.
You can't stop payment on a cashier's check either, not at Verity Credit Union. Of course, the non-existent bank on the second check might have less stringent rules.

And still no "put your little minds at ease" post from Skins.
Unless I missed it, his last communication was "Update on the Andy Stephenson Situation (12:30PM Wednesday, May 11)":
"There are not going to be any more updates from me until Andy becomes an inpatient at Johns Hopkins. At that point, if Andy signs the waiver, I will call Johns Hopkins back and they will be able to to verify to me that he is an inpatient. I promise I will call Johns Hopkins as soon as it comes to my attention that Andy has been admitted, and I will start a new thread as soon as I have that information."
But Skins, you could verify everything with Andy&Friends if you chose to. You could put it all to bed by vouching for him. But you won't. And that raises many questions, including:
1. "What do you know that you aren't willing to tell the DUmmies?".
2. "Aren't you at all concerned that the members of your web forum, who donate money to fund it and you, might be being scammed?"
3. "Are you concerned that there could be a mass exodus from DU over this?"
4. "Why do allow people to raise funds via your website if you are unwilling to vouch for them?"
5. "Why do you allow people to raise funds via your website AT ALL?"
The guy definitely knows how to run a scam.
The picture that shows Baby Undie playing in the kitchen sink was posted over on the big DUmmie fundraising thread...by Undie himself.
When the pace of contributions started to slow down, Undie tugged on the DUmmie heartstrings by inserting a baby picture that was taken 40 years ago.
Bev taught the apprentice well.
