Freerepublic.com has a super-sized archive regarding Terri Schiavo. The Dailies thread is a digest of breaking news, venting, ranting, photos, prayers, poetry, contact numbers and serve as a meeting place. The daily thread runs itself for the most part.
Please put your links regarding justice for Terri on this thread or articles re: people who are waking up all the time and speaking because they've been given new treatments. Terri was denied a chance to eat by mouth at the end and she was denied new groundbreaking tests by Judge Greer. Instead, he stuck to his guns that she would be starved and dehydrated beginning on March 18th. What a man. It takes a big man to starve an innocent woman to death. This was ALL AGAINST THE FLORIDA STATUTES.
EXPOSURE IS ON THE HORIZON: Mark Fuhrman's book will be available at www.amazon.com by the end of June, 2005. Another book by Cheryl Ford, RN will be available soon.
The GOP is getting phone calls but they are not listening to their constituents on the issue of George Greer. Does the GOP endorse judicial tyranny? Ask them. Find out.
Possibly we can mend a divide in the Republican Party that is turning into a dangerous crevasse by demanding the impeachment of Judge George Greer, Sixth Circuit Court, Pinellas County, Florida.
If that sounds radical, please note that the democrats are in trouble as well for not saving Terri's life.
Greer had super powers over the Governor of Florida, over the US Congress, the President and over the FDLE. Greer who was in defiance of the US Congress and President is the one who needs investigation and impeachment but the RINO's in Tallahassee are reluctant to do their duty.
If Terri was killed because of money and power, let us find out how RINOS like Senator Jim King went into battle against Terri with the death lobby and the national trial lawyers. Senator Jim King of Duval County should not get a pass either, not ever.
How 'bout if I add this to it?
Nope, not my field and obviously not yours either.
All I do know is that the WPPFF thread sure had a lot of drinking references in it....I think that was in poor taste, act like you are debating life and death issues, call those who don't agree with you fanactics, etc....and then talk about getting drunk while you are doing it.
It is just my opinion that that was in bad taste.
You don't have to major in Graphic design to get your point across.
There is a page in the FR help section that encourages people to just jump right in and add photos and such.
:)
I have to say that I'm surprised that you're working on these ads. I thought you were against Terri's feeding tube being removed. Guess I was wrong.
Why are you trolls on here? No need. Terri's dead, you got what you wanted, so go home and leave us Terri supporters alone!
I will make a few further adjustments and add this:
I keep hearing this is going to cost us Republicans in the next election. Why aren't the Democrats talking about it now? If it is such a good subject for them and makes us look so bad, why aren't they talking about it everyday? I know Dean has mentioned it a few times, but hey, that only helps the Republicans.
I would be hesitant to say that this is going to hurt the Republicans in the next election. (I know some people hope that it does, even some on FR who claim to be conservatives.) People said the same thing about abortion years ago.
I hope the Democrats bring it up, everyday, it just reminds people who is the party of death and who is the party of life.
I will be waiting on those Democrat commercials....wonder if we will see any? Time will tell.
So you really were in favor of pulling her feeding tube? Well, I certainly wasn't. The ads are still poorly done. Sarcasm alert or not. Some how sarcasm about the subject seems inappropriate. But you do what you like.
Ya know why no one hears about it, cause the media doesn't report it!! It hurts the Republicans and you know what, they don't know about and don't no the extinct of how much it will hurt them, neither does the Democrats! If media isn't pushing it, than how does the parties know if Americans are mad at them or not over Terri. I'll tell! It will happen on election day! I won't forget and plan to only vote for those I think I can trust!
Sorry, Animal rights and laws restrict us from helping with the disposal of Animals by dehydration at this time.
I re-registered "Decline to State" after being a Republican for as long as I can remember. I can't stand to look at those gutless creeps in the Republican Party! I get sick to my stomach every time I think about or read about Jeb Bush. I don't see how he can sleep at night.
Me, too. Although it's hard to keep the faith at this point.
Re. the ones who wanted Terri dead - some FReepers - as far as I'm concerned, they have her blood on their hands, too.
This has already hurt the Republicans. I know I'm not alone in leaving the GOP. They all make me sick with the possible exception of Tom DeLay. After Terri died, I re-registered "Decline to State".
I don't want to wait that long but I can wait. We need to kick liberals out of the GOP and if the GOP doesn't do so, sorry, no help from me, neither my time or my money. All the GOP so called leaders understand is money. They don't get "liberalism" vs. conservatism at all. Poof, right over their heads.
Jim King, the king of cavalier saying he wanted Terri to die. They should talk...
John McCain was talking about Terri. He was all gung ho a few weeks ago and glad that she was killed. Who needs Howard Dean when the GOP has their very own version? This will hurt the GOP because part of their base that knows that J. Greer is a Republican and they supported him aren't going to help the GOP. They are no different than the democrats when it comse right down to it. Why fear the democrats? The GOP top tier is not pro-life, they just say they are to get votes.
The media imo is following orders and under-reporting how ticked off many republicans and democrats are that neither party came to Terri's aid. Terri crossed all demographic, religious, ethnic, political lines. Justice for Terri is the same way. Our country has made a grave error taking the life of a disabled person. I can think of thousands of bloggers who feel the same way. Did you see that the Feds want bloggers to register or something to make sure they aren't fundraising? Maybe they are trying to shut down the Terri blogs. It won't work.
A very grave error. But you know it opened my eyes. I was living in a la la land before they killed Terri. I was one of the most avid supporters of the Republican Party . . . until I realized that all they care about is $$$$$ and more $$$$$$ and polls. Actually, the Terri polls were wrong but the GOP was too stupid to figure it out until it was too late.
