I'm sick of the liberal Republican party. I want the conservative Republican party. I think what you want is a party with real principles, not a gaggle of politicians who will say anything, do anything and sling anything to get elected and grab power.
And that's exactly what's happened with both Big Stupid Government parties.

It's guys like you, that give me a glimmer of hope.
I'll never have the chance to express myself personally the way you and others do.
Thanks for fighting here for me, while I go to fight over there, for you.

"I want the conservative Republican party."
I'll take a Republican party that is determined to cut federal spending and the growth of the federal gov't, whilst doing more to protect our boarders.
Wait - those used to be 'conservative' values. Now 'conservative' seems to mean 'only those values held by evangelicals'.

Panic is premature. An "AP piece" on Frist may be as accurate as AP's Iraq reporting. The Bolton nomination has yet to be voted upon. I'd like to kick ass 100% of the time too, but that isn't realistic.
Don't misunderestimate Bush, remember he's a good poker player.
Strategery, patience.

Well it is time to start calling these big spenders on the carpet as we did in 1994, I think we have allowed them to become fat dumb and happy.

Too true, True. We must maintain our course of action. We must start electing some Freepers to office - no matter how small. We have to start now.

Did you see the MoveOn commercial on the Judicial Nominees. It is sickening. The have large elephants charging and claim that the extreme republicans want to appoint judges that have their extreme views. I saw it this morning and nearly lost my breakfast.

It is a sad thing when conservative constitutional issues fall by the way-side while our "leaders" suck up to people that not only will never give an inch, but will hate them even while they are being sucked up to. George Bush gave teddy kennedy an education bill that did not allow tuition tax credits, in spite of what he promised while running for office. Did Kennedy appreciate the sell out? No, Kennedy still traveled one side of the country to the next stating that Bush was somehow in on the attacks on 9-11.
I guess a good way to put it is that we get what we pay for. We have been ripped off on our leadership, mainly because our leaders aren't leaders but weak and innefective people who crave high office. The bible does tell us that God rules in the nations and that he does put "the lowest of men" over the affairs of others. I just don't know why i continue to register surprise when that ends up being the truth.
I would rather have the conservatives over our country, but only if they will do conservative things. Otherwise i would rather have liberals in charge and us able to use them as examples of wrongdoing.
