I believe that we must first hear an explanation from Roger at Kraft Foods a 34 Billion dollar corporation as to why there is no Velveeta in Malaysia.
One possibility is Kraft tried selling it and they got nowhere. That stuff is vile. Is it really essential?

A verse from Spike Jones' version (voice with a Yiddish accent):
"...we got delicious knishes and kosher champagne - the kosher champagne is two-cents-plain. Pastrami, salami, matzohs and jam, y'should pardon the expression; we even got ham but, yes, we have no bananas (etc.)..."
Inspired stuff. :)

I used to respect you, but now you have been revealed as a Velveeta basher. Yup - that's me!!!!!!!!!
You don't really know a person until you find out how they feel about Velveeta.
If you were forced to oeat as much of that stuff as a kid as I was you would understand where I'm coming from.........

Sorry I'm late to this thread! LOL
I'd be happy to see if I can pull some strings.
Any updates on your quest?

Post number #80 there was pretty much the latest. I didn't get a chance to go down to Kraft's office today - I did call them here however and the transcript is above.
I sent emails to Kraft and they don't respond.
Seems to me that they could really care less about their customers. Perhaps if the story gets more attention they might decide to take notice.
The more I discover about Kraft now the more disgusted I am getting though in the way they do business.

Should it be?
There is a bigger story here - a story of the incompetence of many of America's manufacturers today that I have gently been alluding to.
I find it shameful that our country whines about trade deficits.

LOL, I just read your blog.
If all else fails, I too would be pleased to send you a brick from Chicago. ;-)
In a pinch, you can make an excellent nacho cheese sauce with Campells nacho cheese soup + shredded cheddar cheese.
