Today, there was a table of ribbons at my college. One ribbon was rainbow the other was black and brown. A girl who was in the local Gay and Lesbians club started explaining what they were. The rainbow ribbon was for gay pride and the black and brown ribbon was for tolerance. She asked me if I wanted to take one.
I took the ribbon for tolerance.
I don't believe in Gay Pride. A society that promotes homosexuality will create more homosexuals. I often point out ancient Sparta where young men of 12 were encouraged to take on an older male lover. As a result when these boys grew up they were disgusted by women. So much so, that Spartan women would shave their heads on their wedding night to appear more masculine.
My point is, that sexuality can be conditioned.
Gay men are less than 1 % of the population but account for over 40 % of Aids cases. It's not healthy. On average Gay men die at least ten years earlier than heterosexual men.
I believe in tolerance but I also believe in truth. Let's start telling young men the truth about homosexuality, or do more have to die?
I may be off base here, but "tolerance" as we know it is far different from "tolerance" as the activist movements are using it today. They are using the word "tolerance" as a vehicle to establish normalcy in otherwise unnatural, unsafe, and immoral practices. The truth is, we don't have to, and we shouldn't tolerate homosexuality because it spreads deadly diseases and is deemed immoral by all of the world's major religions.
