What is it to you if individuals decide not not use animal products? I have vegan friends, and they do not comment on my occasional meat consumption. There is quite a difference between a plant and an animal. The argument should not be diverted, it should be addressed. Milk. Drink the poison, antibiotics and growth hormone every day if you wish, but people have a right to be informed before they put it in their bodies every day. I drink it too, about once a month, when soy milk won't work for certain recipes and such. But do allow people to be informed about the bad things in milk as well as the good. I am so glad my mom said it was good for me when I was a kid. That virtually guaranteed I would avoid it as an adult. I hate drinking milk from dirty cows standing in their own feces. Disgusting.

As opposed to veggies fertilized/feed with human and animal waste.

I don't drink milk. I only eat free range beef and chicken, and a lot of wild game. Plants are also quite dangerous especially those that originate south of the border where human waste is used for fertilizer and irrigation.

You need to learn a little more about facts yourself. Believe me you have no corner on the market of knowledge.

Your above statement is pure Peta, the newsletter was sent to me, years ago.

I promise you, we do not spend $1,000's of dollars for a good Milk Cow and allow them to stand in their own feces.

If you are getting milk from a dirty dairy, then of course it is bad.

A cow is milked in the milking shed and released onto the finest green pastures, and fed the finest foods.

And yes, way more chemicals than I like.

I would not be surprised to find that i had spent more hours,
cleaning cow and goat pens, than I ever did cleaning my house........Both have to be clean.

Peta goes to great trouble to find one crazy person, who keeps the animals in dirt and filth, just as the crazy old woman will have 200 cats in her stinking house.

The stuff Peta says is not the truth about how we raise animals.
