Let's see now: the world is more diminished by the passing of a sexually promiscuous, pop-culture musician/part-time heroin addict, and a drug-crazed writer who blew his brains out and who wanted his ashes to be shot out of a cannon, than it is diminished by the passing of John Paul II. Carter, who gives an interview to Playboy magazine, whose heroes are neo-orthodox Protestants such as Paul Tillich, and who is not afraid to identify with the execrable Michael Moore, is "the only truly devout Christian President in our time."

"but Jimmy Carter who, as the only truly devout Christian President in our time"

Is there some reason we are wasting bandwidth over this drivel? This has got to take the award for the most ignorant statement of the day, perhaps the week or maybe even the month.

Sometimes it is better to let articles that are so far off the wall like this one, to remain lost in the void.

Mods need to pull this trash.
