Remember Roe V Wade was 1973, The first year in Nixon's second term. Nixon also funded the Johnson Great Society. The social conservative agenda has been AWOL for the first term of GWB. Do you really think he will find it in time to finish out his second?

Consider GWB policy on government spending, immigration, civil unions, and on and on. Lip service is paid but real action is lacking. GOP history with judicial nominations is spotty at best, with the occasional disaster. Have you ever noticed the DNC never seems to make this same mistake? Is the GOP more incompetent than the DNC or dishonest? Perhaps someone has a third option but I can't come up with it.
