General Question to All: Is it common practice for an admitting nurse in an ER to ask if you have a Living Will? Or is that question designated to those of us who have chronic medical conditions, in my case, MS?

My dad was overdosed with multi meds, and would not eat, and was extremely unresponsive. My mom told them to reduce the medication, and dad bounced back.

The same situation happened to my sister's mother-in-law.

I do not think it was intentional, but in any event, we REALLY have to watch our loved ones when they are in a hospital/nursing home.
