Actually, the Soviet Union was the first empire in human history where the conquered lived better than the conquerors. The Soviet Union provided raw materials at below world market prices and the East Europeans provided consumer goods of below world market quality. Life was better in Magdeburg, Budapest, and Prague than in Rostov or Odessa.

If you go back in history, Pax Romana, imposed by the Roman Empire was, in essence, a huge extortion scheme in which the conquered nations paid Rome to "protect" them and provide some good roads.

Think about this, however. The whole justification for Islam is that it is morally superior to all other religions.

No different than Communism or even our own Democrats. They must present that face in order to impose their will, as corrupt and brutal as it may be. Remember, prison and starvation are for your own good.

That is also why alternate views or competitive systems must be eliminated. During each election cycle in the U.S., the Democrat candidate is presented as brilliant and caring and the opposition is cast as stupid and mean.
