I think you should be banned from posting at this site for your inflammatory language and blanket smearing of those of us who respect the faith and integrity of Alan Keyes.
Of course I get a bit of satisfaction waking up in the morning and seeing that my opinions on this topic are the correct ones....according to the judges....especially after being called a Pro-Murderer, Abortionist, Pro-Death, DU troll, Liberal lurker...by other Freepers for Chrissakes!
Let's face it. The Right-to-Lifers in our party are emotionally delusional. Terri Schiavo the person died 15 years ago.
I find it very hard to believe with all the publicity over the years that if any fraction of the gastly things Michael Schiavo said or did were true, a judge along the way wouldn't have ordered records, transcripts, etc. to refute or prove them.
By this twisted logic, George W. Bush would be personally responsible for every abortion in America.
After all, the author could choose to describe an abortion as an "execution" of the fetus, then claim that "only the executive has the power to take a life" and then claim that President Bush has the Constitutional power to grant "executive relief" to that fetus.
The author is describing the powers of an absolute monarch and not the powers of the State and Federal Executive Branches of our Constitutional Republic.
Check the source. Isn't RenewAmerica an Alan Keyes site?
I thought he was Republican. Sort of.
I believe so. But that doesn't impact my comment at all.
Anyone over 70 needs to look long and hard at the lack of planning advocated by demoncrats. Pulling the plug and starvation is not the answer to social security benefit reudctions due to lack of planning.
The Judiciary has no power to enforce its judgments. It relies on the Executive Branch to do that. If the Executive Branch ignores it, the Judiciary is powerless. That is what Separate and Equal means.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and in any case I am not in favor of name calling but it is a fact that trolls do exist, not that you are one. Have a nice day.
I agree.
Fratricide-
They were blaming the local bishop awhile ago.
Bush has little say in the excesses of the court.
I don't buy the argument that Jeb is to blame. Not at all. He has been working to save Terri.
It's your fault.
The shocking governmental homicide of Terri Schiavo has many dimensions, twists, and turns--all of which, upon analysis, converge on one inescapable reality: The life of Terri Schiavo is solely in the hands of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.To which I say BULL! Decades of citizen INACTION is how we got to this point, we just keep handing them more and more of OUR power.
You know, if a gunman breaks into your house you have a choice, run and hide with the telephone dialing 911 waiting for the government to come save you, or you get your gun and protect yourself! There are MILLIONS (according to Glenn Beck) of people who want Terri to live and they are frantically dialing 911 (i.e setting on their butts sending emails; making phone calls & writing letters) waiting for the government to come in and save her. Instead of asking the politicians to break the laws (that we helped make) to save her, why arent 'The MILLIONS' getting together and breaking the law to save her themselves?
This case is sickening. But blaming Bush would be like blaming the militia. Any militia could act but what member will take off from work, travel, face public humiliation, face arrest, prison, and the inability to support their family in order to save this stranger?by Monterrosa-24
DITTO!
Rubbish
You have a good one too...it's raining cats and dogs here in Maryland.
Gov Bush can do nothing short of ordering marshals to go in to the house with force. We are bound now by law. This is not Jeb's fault.
