Judge George Greer's parents died a short time before he first ran for the bench. The circumstances surrounding their deaths are unavailable, and inspite of research, people have been unable to find any details. Did Greer euthanize his own parents? Is that why he ignores and breaks the law to make sure Terri Schiavo dies? Is he using Terri as part of his own sick rationalization for justifying his own deeds? As a judge he would have the power to close records detailing the circumstances of his parents' deaths, but if indeed he did participate in the euthanasia murder of his own parents, he would be wholly unqualified to act as judge in this case -- which he has held hostage for almost two decades.

Oh come on. This idle speculation is way over the edge.
No offense intended- but this is exactly the sort of thoughtless commentary we usually accuse the liberals of making.
I think what's happening to Terri is horrible. It isn't right or fair, but is this going to help her?
It has a LOT of bearing if the judge can be shown to be an advocate of euthanasia, as Michael Schiavo's attorney is. If that should turn out to be the case, one would imagine he should have recused himself from hearing the issue.
The rhetoric on these threads is just sad, as is the amount of mis-information. Thanks for the ping.
Everything that the liberals always have done, that we have always stood against as conservatives, many of us have wholeheartedly embraced over this case:
Liberals have always let emotion rule the day, rather than clearly though out logic.
Check.
Liberals have always spewed baseless accusation to attack people who's positions they do not like.
Check.
Liberals shun real debate, in favor of a fear-mongering hysteria.
Check.
Liberals will reject the majority of scientific consesus, if they can find one or two scientists that will agree with their side. (i.e. global warming)
Check.
When a poll comes out that is not in their favor, liberals just say that the American people are stupid and just don't understand what's going on.
Check.
Liberals will believe any wild allegation without a shred of evidence, if it is about somebody they don't like. At the same time, they will believe any wild conspiracy theory by any person at all if that theory works to serve their interest.
Check.
Liberals purposely use a lot of really fiery rhetoric that *sounds* great but holds water like a seive when it's put to task by factual information.
Check.
Liberals go by the notion that ANY distortion of the truth, as long as the end result is what they want it to be.
Check.
Liberals, the moment they feel slighted, immediately demand that the Federal government come stomping in and start arresting people and setting things in place they way they think it should be, regardless of jurisdiction or constitutionality.
Check.
It's a shame to see people that I have always respected completely fall off the turnip truck.
Bones
It's rather harsh to label someone an 'adulterer' when their spouse has been unresponsive for 14 years. Why not save that term for those that cheat while their loved ones are still living at home?
